Swarnim Basketball Club

Swarnim Basketball ClubFounded in the year 2054 Shrawan (ie 1997 July), Swarnim Basketball Club was initially named SWARNIM SAMUHA. Prior to that, the same squad used to partake in interward basketball tournaments within Dharan, just as a representation of ward no 10.

Once the club was formed, Swarnims, with their serious aspiration, fierce determination & common goal, steeped themselves in the game of basketball, and thenceforward reigned Dharan for all but a decade which is regarded as SWARNIM DYNASTY, a dynasty that each Swarnim has savoured throughout.

With umpteen accomplishments under its belt in its prime, Swarnim has, without doubt, helped bring Dharan basketball to the level that it is at now, as the club is also accredited with having first introduced Dharan with wide range of basketball activities - interclub tournament, one-day tournament, half-court streetball championship, 3-point shootout competition, interschool championship & national level tournament, for instance.
